The comedians of the podcast 'Pur de Patos', Tío Rober and Cojo Feliz, mocked Adrián Marcelo's failure at the Metropolitan Theatre in Mexico City for not selling out tickets for his performance scheduled on March 14. Upon arriving in Mexico City, Marcelo admitted it was hard for him to sell seats, attributing the low ticket sales to the large number of events in the capital.
In a video titled 'Metropolitan half full', Tío Rober and Cojo Feliz commented on the low attendance at Adrián Marcelo and La Mole's show. They linked the low ticket sales to the jokes Marcelo makes about the chilangos culture in his show. The video generated over 180,000 views in one day and was interpreted as a response to a previous controversy between the comedians and Marcelo.
Taking advantage of the video's virality, Tío Rober and Cojo Feliz promoted their upcoming performance in Monterrey on April 26. Roberto Andrade and Hugo Alberto Pérez Acevedo, the real names of the comedians, invited the Monterrey audience to their show and with a sarcastic touch claimed that they love them and love their culture, while challenging Marcelo and declaring 'war' on him, asking not to be abandoned.
